1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AIEA Smart Home software, hardware, mobile applications, and related services ("Services") provided by Billion Wings Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "AIEA"). By creating an account or using any AIEA service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Use of Services

You may use AIEA services for lawful personal and household automation purposes only. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, hack, or tamper with the AIEA Hub or software.
• Use the services to monitor or control devices you do not own or have explicit permission to control.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit AIEA services without written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with our servers or networks.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aieasmarthome.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscription & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
• You may cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We offer a 14-day free trial on all paid plans. No charges until the trial ends.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if you contact us at billing@aieasmarthome.io.
• Prices may change with 30 days written notice to your registered email.

5. Hardware

AIEA hardware products (Hub, sensors, cameras) carry a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover physical damage, water damage, or misuse. For warranty claims, contact support@aieasmarthome.io with your purchase proof.

6. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via email and on status.aieasmarthome.io with at least 24 hours notice. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual Property

All AIEA software, designs, trademarks, and content are owned by Billion Wings Pvt Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission. Your personal home automation data remains yours.

8. Limitation of Liability

AIEA services are provided to automate and optimise your home — not as a substitute for safety equipment. We are not liable for any damages arising from device malfunctions, network failures, or misuse of automation features. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of AIEA services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
